Snow on the Mountains

Here's a quick tour of Sabino Canyon yesterday morning when there was snow on the Santa Catalina Mountains. We only see snow on the south side of the mountains in our area a couple of times each year and it doesn't last long.

Check out Julie's "The Unexpected" post featuring more snow in the Sonoran Desert. Her delightful blog, Random Meanderings, is about "Moseying, observing, pondering... and finding little gems in the oddest ordinary places."

I love the contrast of cactus and snow. Most of it melted here today. Beautiful captures.
