Skywatch - Welcoming Weird Weather

May is typically hot and dry in Tucson. We had some clear triple digit days this week, but then the air cooled, and it's been raining on and off. Like most sky watchers, I find it fascinating to observe clouds as they come and go. The desert smells so good when it rains and all the plants look happy. For sure, a little unexpected moisture is welcome here.

To see what's been happening in the sky in other places, visit Skywatch Friday.

  19. Austin is getting hot too. With I could head home to Canada for the next 5 months!

That first picture is so neat, it looks like that bowl of clouds is perfectly framing the tree.

    Beauiful spot you live in!

  24. These are works of ART. They are so dramatic. With the sky and the cactus piece the sky and that first one the way the clouds seem to copy the tree. Also the colors and constrasts in that second one are delicious. I just love them.
