Skywatch Friday - Cloudy Morning

Sunrise 6:00 AM

6:24 AM

Sabino Canyon Visitor Center 9:28 AM

It rained last night, so Chris and I walked to Sabino Canyon this morning to look for gila monsters and to check out the creek. The weather was cool and humid. We didn't notice any large lizards, but we did see a couple of roadrunners. The creek wasn't flowing and the lake was dry. We could use some more rain. Today's weather forecast says 50% chance of rain. We'll see.

    It rained last night here too. It rained so hard it broke 3 of my umbrellas and one of the patio tables, and part of the neighbor's tree landed on my new landscaping :(

    Nice sunrise, though it almost looks like a house fire.

    The creek is dry? Oh My! We did have rain out here by the Santa Ritas. I can only hope it made it as far north as you! Nice photos of the sky though.

    Great pictures. The light in the first one is beautiful. I am surprised at how cloudy it has been here, but it has actually been pretty nice...not too hot!
